Description

Discover the Art of Bowl Turning at David Parr House with Jon Bailey. Unlock the ancient craft of bowl turning using a traditional pole lathe.

Led by skilled instructor Jon Bailey, renowned for his mastery and years of experience in teaching greenwood turning, this course promises an authentic journey into woodworking heritage.

Tickets are sold per lathe – which can accommodate 1 or 2 people.

Please note at the end of the day you will leave with only one hand-turned wooden bowl per lathe – so if there are 2 of you, one bowl will be produced between you.

All materials, including protective wear, will be provided. Please be aware that this workshop requires physical activity such as standing and using the upper body for long periods. If you need assistance please email us at info@davidparrhouse.org before purchasing a ticket.

Light refreshments are provided, but please bring a packed lunch.
