Evening Decorative Copper Tile Making with Rebecca Stark
Join artist and craftswoman Rebecca Stark for a copper embossing workshop on 23rd July, 6.00pm - 8.00pm.
Inspired by the intricate patterns of David Parr House, this hands-on workshop will introduce you to the traditional art of copper embossing. Perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike, you will learn how to create your own decorative metalwork piece using emboss and repoussé techniques.
In this workshop, you will:
Draw a simple design to scale, taking inspiration from the patterns found in David Parr House.
Transfer your design onto copper foil wrapped around a wooden blank.
Learn both emboss and repoussé techniques to create a textured, dimensional piece.
Take home your unique metal artwork, ready to display.
Enjoy tea, coffee, and biscuits to enjoy during the session.
The workshop will last approximately two hours. Please note that this session does not include a tour of David Parr House.
All workshop proceeds go towards maintaining David Parr House – thank you for your support.
Please see our Terms and Conditions before making a booking. Bookings are non-refundable and may not be exchanged or transferred.
