On Foot:
The house is located just off Mill Road, a 20-minute walk from the centre of Cambridge and a 10-minute walk from the rail station.
By Bike:
David Parr House is a 10-minute cycle ride from the city centre. Bike racks are located opposite the house and in the Gwydir Street car park.
By Bus:
The No. 2 bus from the city centre (Emmanuel Street, stop E3) runs along Mill Road. It takes five minutes to arrive at the Gwydir Street stop. View Stagecoach live departures here.
By Rail:
There are regular trains to Cambridge from London, Norwich and from across the country. Once you arrive, it takes ten minutes to walk to David Parr House.
Directions:
Exit the station, walk right across the taxi area and through the car park, pass under the cycle bridge, then turn right onto Devonshire Road. Walk to the junction, and turn left onto Mill Road. Cross at the first set of traffic lights into Gwydir Street. The house is 100m on the right.
By Car:
For sat-nav directions use the postcode: CB1 2LW. Please note that you can only access Gwydir Street by car from Mill Road.
Parking: paid parking is available for two hours in Gwydir Street Car Park, which is about 50m from David Parr House. Payment can be made by the ‘Just Park’ app. You can pay by card but cash payments are not accepted. If you would like to park for longer than two hours then we suggest the Queen Anne Terrace car park, which is a 10-minute walk along Mill Road.
