Be among the first to view the Pictures for Schools exhibition.
Drawn from the collection of Cambridgeshire-based collector Robjn Cantus, Pictures for Schools explores the legacy of this pioneering post-war scheme founded by artist and educationalist Nan Youngman, which brought original contemporary art into classrooms across Britain.
Featuring works by artists including Frances Hodgkins, Walter Hoyle and Bernard Cheese, the exhibition launches a new annual Pictures for Schools residency in our Gallery and shines a light on the importance of creativity and access to art in education.
Speeches can be expected at 7.00pm.
Please register for a ticket and let us know if you are bringing a guest.
