Experience an a cappella performance by the Finnish ensemble, Jyvä, consisting of five members from Jyväskylä. Their captivating repertoire and dynamic stage presence showcases each member's distinct voice, yet they harmonize to create their distinct sound.

Jyvä is a part of a Vocal Collective, ‘Nomad Vocals’, which draws singers from all over Finland to sing together with purpose. The Grammy award-winning tenor Paul Phoenix and former member of the King’s Singers, serves as Artistic Director of the collective, and Jussi Mattila is the Choir Master.

The members have a long history of a cappella music. Jyvä's repertoire consists of iconic songs from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Whether you're a fan of The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Sting or any other wonderful artist, you'll fall in love with Jyvä's style to bring the music alive!

Linda Pennström | soprano
