[In]Conversation: Adam Bridgland & Ines Fernandez de Cordova
Join printmaker Adam Bridgland and artist Ines Fernandez de Cordova for a special evening conversation as part of [In]Press, an exhibition celebrating contemporary printmaking.
Having worked alongside one another for almost a decade at Jealous Studios in London, Adam and Ines will discuss the collaborative environment of a contemporary print studio, the role of printmaking in their respective practices and the work featured in [In]Press.
This special after-hours event offers the opportunity to experience the exhibition, hear directly from the artists and gain insight into the creative processes behind the work on display. Following the conversation, visitors will have the chance to explore the exhibition, discuss the artworks with Adam and Ines and purchase original prints from the show.
[In] Press is a selling exhibition of contemporary prints featuring work by Katherine Jones, Ines Fernandez de Cordova, Rob Ryan, Sid White Jones, Deborah Bowness, Michelle Thompson and Clare Curtis.
Doors open at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start.
About the speakers
Adam Bridgland describes himself as an accidental printmaker. His practice explores colour, process and collaboration, and he has worked with artists across a wide range of disciplines to realise ambitious print projects. For [In] Press, Adam has brought together a selection of artists whose practices demonstrate the breadth and vitality of contemporary printmaking.
Ines Fernandez de Cordova is a London-based artist whose work spans printmaking, drawing and installation. Through intricate compositions and layered imagery, her practice examines themes of memory, landscape and perception. Alongside her own artistic practice, she has worked at Jealous Studios for many years, developing extensive expertise in contemporary print production.
