Perfect for those who would like to experience more of the David Parr House story, this tour offers an atmospheric insider experience that can be tailor-made to the interests of your group. It is also a great gift idea - a brilliant experience for those wishing to spend time with family or friends.
In an intimate group of no more than six people you will have time to discover a great deal about this house and the stories it can tell. The tour is led by a Founder who helped to save and restore the David Parr House. As you walk through the building you will not only experience David Parr’s beautiful hand-painted craftsmanship, but you will also hear more about how the house was saved and the decisions that had to be made along the way.
Using David Parr’s notebook, Elsie’s family memories and artefacts and a detailed knowledge of the restoration and conservation work, this guided tour will allow you a deep appreciation of the David Parr House and the stories layered within it.
