Description

Craft your own unique ceramic buttons with ceramic artist Kate Webber. Use textures and screen-printing techniques with coloured slip to design one-of-a-kind creations.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Shape and decorate ceramic buttons using various tools and techniques.
  • Experiment with textures and screen-printing for intricate designs.
  • Create buttons perfect for sewing projects or as thoughtful gifts.
  • Have your buttons fired for collection at David Parr House.
  • All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring textural items to use.

More about Kate: 

Kate Webber is a local Cambridge-based ceramicist and part-time studio technician at Kiln Cambridge. Her work aims to encourage others to embrace their creativity and have fun with the artistic process. She particularly enjoys immersing herself in working with clay, appreciating the mindfulness and relaxation that comes with taking things slowly.
