In 1912, David Parr inscribed, 'If you do anything, do it well' on his Drawing Room wall—a principle that continues to inspire us today.
David Parr House is an independent charity and we rely on donations, memberships, grants, and gifts to support our work. With your help, we can continue to conserve the house and its collection, pursue valuable research, and offer a vibrant programme of workshops, events, and exhibitions. Find ways to support us financially or through volunteering below.
We need your support. Donate today and help to keep David Parr's legacy alive. Every donation, big or small, helps us to preserve the house and ensures we can continue our programme of workshops, events, and exhibitions.
Make new friends, learn a skill, undertake research and contribute to the growing community around David Parr House. To find out more email Bob, House and Visitor Experience Manager at info@davidparrhouse.org

Leaving a gift in your will could be one of the most important ways you could support The David Parr House. Without any statutory funding, we rely on support from donors and benefactors to tell the stories of the house. David Parr and his granddaughter Elsie Palmer made such a difference to our lives with what they left behind.
You could write yourself into the story so when you make your Will, or update your current one, please consider a gift to The David Parr House.
It can be as simple as a percentage of your Estate, or a specific sum to support our work. If you are considering a bequest please see the FAQs and codicil. If you would like to discuss your gift we would love to hear from you.
