Join artist and craftswoman, Rebecca Stark, for this five hour workshop in our visitor centre. Using the David Parr House patterns for inspiration, participants with draw simple designs to scale and transfer the design onto copper foil wrapped round a wooden blank, before progressing to learn both emboss and repoussé techniques to create three stunning Christmas hanging decorations.
The workshop will last approximately four and a half hours and all materials and light refreshments will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch, or you can buy lunch from one of the many local cafes and shops.
Please note, the workshop does not include a tour of David Parr House, but you will have the opportunity to take an optional brief walk-through the house while you are here.
Rebecca Stark is a local artist who graduated with a BA Hons in Wood, Metal, Ceramics and Plastics at the University of Brighton. Since then Rebecca’s love of creating art has been a constant. Rebecca thrives on the challenges of working in two very different disciplines – designing and making metal clocks, and creating mixed media layered paintings. Find out more about Rebecca’s work here
Please purchase your tickets below, one ticket per person.
