Frederick Leach recorded six meetings with ‘Mr Bodley’ at Queens’ Old Hall in 1875. Bodley designed the decorative scheme for the walls and roof of the Old Hall and it was carried out by Frederick Leach for the sum of £345 18s 2d, including the gilding of 885 lead castings of stars in the roof.
It was repainted under the direction of Stephen Dykes Bower in 1967.
