Explore the wall painting and wood graining conservation and restoration work at the David Parr House with expert guide Mary Kempski, formerly painting conservator at the Hamilton Kerr Institute, University of Cambridge.
This 2-hour tour also gives visitors an in-depth look at the techniques, tools and materials used by David Parr in his own home and sets them in the wider context of decorative art and design in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Please note before booking: we welcome children aged 12 and over (due to the delicate nature of the artwork the house is unsuitable for younger children).
