Perfect for those who have visited before and want to come back a second time or for those who want to come as a group of 6 and linger for that much longer.
The David Parr House has more than 70 cupboards and drawers. This tour is for those people who would love to know what’s inside some of them! Led by our expert House Guides, this Special Tour (2.5hrs including refreshments) gives visitors a closer look at some of the objects, documents and textiles in the house, sharing more about the lives lived in 186 Gwydir Street over the past 130 years.
As we move into the next phase of living with COVID-19, the safety and wellbeing of all our visitors, staff and volunteers remains of upmost importance. Face masks are now optional and the house is well ventilated. Please do not attend the tour if you, or those you live with, test positive for or are displaying symptoms of COVID, instead please contact us. To read our risk assessment please click here.
In the winter months the house can be quite cold – please dress warmly as bulky coats are not allowed in the house!
Please note before booking: we welcome children aged 12 and over (due to the delicate nature of the artwork the house is unsuitable for younger children and babies).
Refunds – Please Note We are unable to offer refunds on tickets purchased.
If you unable to come on your booked tour we suggest that you gift your tickets to friends or family and ask that you e-mail their names to us at firstname.lastname@example.org . Thank you
