Led by a trained guide, you’ll enter an ordinary-looking terraced house and discover the world of David Parr and his family. The House is a unique survival. On David Parr’s death, his granddaughter Elsie moved in and stayed for over 80 years, preserving both David’s decorative art and the social history of four generations. The house and its contents tell an unexpected story of both Victorian Arts and Crafts and Twentieth Century social history.

In the winter months the house can be quite cold – please dress warmly as bulky coats are not allowed in the house,
Please note before booking: we welcome children aged 12 and over (due to the delicate nature of the artwork the house is unsuitable for younger children and babies).
Refunds – Please Note We are unable to offer refunds on tickets purchased.

By choosing to give a 10% donation, the Government will give us an extra 25% on top of your whole entrance fee.
